Do you photograph your still life or do you paint from real life? If you photograph, what camera, etc.? What lighting--inside, outside; lamps?

If people in the audience are customers, they'd probably want to know the story behind your artwork--what inspired you to produce that painting, etc.

I find that people are first attracted to a piece of art because of its appearance, then by its story and/or the artist's story.

I know you'll do great. Be yourself. Your enthusiasm naturally shines. Good luck!Fanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490701289522974449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3555538283837807387.post-8874694575763664482007-09-08T13:04:00.000-04:002007-09-08T13:04:00.000-04:00pft Casey you are too funny! That's a good idea tho...pft Casey you are too funny!

That's a good idea though - I'll pick a couple to do that with.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15449813797621330902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3555538283837807387.post-26780564203245657612007-09-08T10:28:00.000-04:002007-09-08T10:28:00.000-04:00With an artist like yourself, I want to know what ...With an artist like yourself, I want to know what you eat for breakfast, and how you lace your shoes.

Your art is so great, I know there is a hidden secret somewhere.

One thing I find very helpful is to just tell the story of one image. And how do u address a problem in ur work , what do u do when u run out of ideas( how to keep ur self motivated).

I think u can also talk about how to promote ur work. Goodluck on the lecture!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
