I found the grit a bit more gritty on the wallis! :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15449813797621330902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3555538283837807387.post-79714388653419961122008-10-15T15:47:00.000-04:002008-10-15T15:47:00.000-04:00Thanks for your reply, Nicole! I loved the way the polychromos covered the surface and thought "Hey, I think this will work great"' But then I noticed alot of pencil dust at the applicationn point and even when I would brush it into a can, I guess there were still some in the air as i sneezed quite hard. I have asthma so need to be careful. It was similar to using pastel which of course produces the pastel dust. Maybe the Fisher doesn't "scrape" as much????

DebbieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3555538283837807387.post-34477197653456519882008-10-15T15:42:00.000-04:002008-10-15T15:42:00.000-04:00This is one of the most striking and poignant chil...This is one of the most striking and poignant child portraits I've ever seen. I don't know because I've never tried them on Wallis, but I don't SEEM to be having a problem with breathing them in. Besides the dust problem, how do you like them on Wallis?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15449813797621330902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3555538283837807387.post-58282363883099570172008-10-15T12:57:00.000-04:002008-10-15T12:57:00.000-04:00Nicole, your work is fabulous! The problem for me was there was ALOT of dust created and was wondering if that occurs on the Fisher paper you have been using? And if so, do you have a way to keep from "breathing" in the dust?
Always look forward to your posts!

DebbieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3555538283837807387.post-12899869314276078802008-10-15T08:35:00.000-04:002008-10-15T08:35:00.000-04:00My 1st impression was 'Reach."SandiMy 1st impression was 'Reach."

SandiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3555538283837807387.post-60819473658132694372008-10-15T08:14:00.000-04:002008-10-15T08:14:00.000-04:00"Contemplation""Contemplation"visioneerwindowshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13896393894219466588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3555538283837807387.post-47405927213645647402008-10-15T04:06:00.000-04:002008-10-15T04:06:00.000-04:00The light is beautiful.
