For easy reference the supplies I use for my colored pencil pictures are:

For my still-lifes I use Derwent Coloursofts and a few Prismas on Ampersand Pastelbord or Fisher 400 paper. I usually frame them without glass and spray them with a spray varnish.

For my portraits I use Polychromos on Fisher 400 paper. I frame my portraits under glass. Now avialable in the US! http://www.proartpanels.com/fisher400-proart-panels/
