the Corrections on the Princess Portrait

Well here it is after the erasing incident. The pencil did come off pretty easily, especially with scotch tape, but when I placed pencil on top of the area it did give me some trouble. I think erasing at such a late stage always does and I try to just use my kneaded eraser at the beginning stages if needed, but I couldn't see any options with that poofy sleeve except for completely getting rid of it. I would never erase when there are loads of layers on an important area such as the face. You might as well do it over again if you need to mess with those areas. Actually for the most part using sanded papers, you can usually just draw right over layers underneath for minor corrections.
One week until the cruise! I'll be getting my lesson refined this week for the Caribbean Cruise Workshop and printing out pages for the students, so maybe I can pop back in before I leave next Sunday!

absolutely stunning! I am amazed at what you do with your colored pencils and a bit envious of your technique.
Thanks for sharing.

Wow. Really lovely. Her sweetly mischeivious look really reminds me of my own princess. You are truly talented.

I was just wondering how do you put your drawing down on your pastelboard?

I just wanted to let you know that you've been tagged in a little Meme to write a 6 word memoir that describes who you are. I posted all of the instructions on my blog. Hope you take up the challenge!
