Dandelions WIP

Work in Progress!

Just a small piece on Fisher 400. The dandelions are life-size - but they were big dandelions in the first place! I really need to use some weed killer...

I've wanted to do a dandelion piece for a long time. I can remember picking them for my mother and now that I am a mother and I get regular offerings of them, it really makes me laugh how graciously my mother displayed them when I was a child. :D

This was completely inspired by Debra Teare's work: http://www.myamericanartist.com/2007/11/debra-teare-upd.html

They sooo are aren't they Kasie? My daughter gets really upset with me when I say we need to get rid of them. :)

Dandelions, buttercups, violets...we've abandoned our yard to them. Besides, they make such a pretty little bouquet for our 'princesses'!

My, but I'm impressed by how quickly you work! You must be very disciplined or very tired! ;0)
