Bird's Eye View

Bird's Eye View
8" x 10"
Prismacolors and Solvent on Fisher 400 paper

I need to go in and touch some things up on this but I am impatient to post it.

My daughter and I picked these lovely flowers on the side of the road. I think I need to go back and just get a whole vase full of the black-eyed Susans! They were really fun to do.

Yellow, pink, violet, baby blue and white. Exquisite palette, and this is a gem, Nicole.

A delightful piece! Terrific use of still life elements. I used to be a ditch weed/flower picker. Now I have a large field full of meadow flowers. I put them in vases all over the house. Thank goodness we don't have allergies! :-)

I especially like the porcelain 'vase', as you've done with the light what I like to see. It looks like glazed porcelain!

Love the colorful background... (of course the main subject too, but that's redundant :)
