Congradulations Nicole! This is an outstanding example of your work. I know we haven't chatted since the glory days of Wet Canvas, but I check in often to see what you are up to. You are an inspiration to all artists, colored pencil and other wise. I sometimes look at your blog and wonder where ever do you find the time!!

Congradulations again!

Typical fine artist. Gets a big prize, and then wants to go into the studio and make more!

You are every bit the best, in my humble opinion, and I hope you'll reward yourself. Won't you regret not going to London?

Congratulations!

Congratulations! Your work is certainly some of the best colored-pencil work I've seen, so I'm not surprised!

Hi Denise! Nice to see you! & many thanks for the nice comments!

Thanks Ann!

Thanks Siti!

Aww thanks Deb! What else I come up with? Well I'm just doing a small change on that last one today - in a smaller format & then I will spend tommorrow setting up a new still-life to work from - something that usually takes all day!

THANKS WENDY!!

Thanks Case, sniff sniff. Yes I regret not being able to go to England. Even though I could convince a friend to let me sleep on her couch with her cats, I still can't afford the plane ticket. So it will have to be another time.
