I am so delighted to let you know that my portrait 'Rob' was sixth in the Popular Vote at the UKCPS Exhibition. The fact that anyone would vote it as their favorite from the show is shocking. :-) Thank you! You can see that portrait in progress in one of my previous posts: http://nicolecaulfieldfineart.blogspot.com/2008/05/portrait-rob.html
I'm working on a bit of a written project right now, so I may not have much exciting for a little while to post. Don't go away - I will be back!

I saw this wonderfully warm picture of Rob at the UKCPS exhibition. I immediately bought some Fisher 400 and was amazed at the effect. My first attempt is no masterpiece and certainly not worth framing but after reading your blog I will have another go with new tactics. Thank you Nicole for the inspiration. I just love your work. How about a workshop in the UK?

Hi Artpal! I tried to find your name, but Artpal will have to do! :)

Thank you so much! I hope to see your progress on the Fisher! I'd LOVE to come to England for a workshop and would even alter my one away workshop a year rule to do it! I just have to find an organization who would like me to come! I'd come just for airfare, food and a lumpy couch to sleep on!
