80's Makeover & Smurf study

I finished!  Here's my 80's still-life all finished. I think I'll name it "80's Makeover" instead of Heartbeat City. I hope you enjoy it.

80's Makeover
6" x 18"
Coloursofts on Pastelbord

& a Bonus little study up for a "Buy It Now" auction below.

I decided to make a companion little 4x6 drawing of a smurf. It is Derwent Coloursofts on Fisher 400 mounted on board.  If you are interested the price is $30 with free shipping and the auction is here: http://bit.ly/eUKqGI

Beautiful job Nicole! Lots of mini portraits there.

You don't have to put a date on it 'cause that cassette cartridge makes it the 80's. I'll bet your children think personal music players are only mp3 players.

I really like the composition - more modern than most still life, but dated. Great job.

haha so true Wendy!

Thanks Nancy!

Jan - They have seen my husband's old small cd player but I bet they will quickly forget about it! It IS an pld composition type isn't it - I'm for bringing it back!

Not too old Katherine! I may post a drawing I did of a smurf when I was a kid... my sister just found it in her old birthday card stack. :-)
